Ann Priest 1841
Young Ann Priest stitched her sampler on 50ct. linen in 1841. The latest reproduction from The Scarlett House is done on 40ct. linen using threads from The Gentle Art. Several shades of green, brown, and gold and were used on the antique.
Sampler Threads gave the reproduction that aged and subtle look. The stitch count is 297 w X 327 h. Colors used are: Dried Thyme, Pine, Blue Spruce, Forest Glade, Tarnished Gold, Cherry Bark, Harvest Basket, Bayberry, Apple Cider, Mountain Mist, Picnic Basket, Caramel Corn, Rose Garden, Cucumber, Heirloom Gold, Piney Woods, Espresso Bean, and (2) Burlap.
